Introduction
Education plays a vital role in shaping both the mind and character of young people. Traditionally, schools have focused on academic success — teaching subjects like mathematics, science, and language to prepare students for exams and future employment. However, many argue that schools should place greater emphasis on moral education and character development to build responsible and compassionate citizens. In my opinion, while academic knowledge is essential, moral and character education are equally important because they shape how students use their knowledge in society. A balanced education must therefore develop both intellect and integrity.
